Happy 60th Anniversary Rudolph!

Happy Birthday to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer! 2024 marked the 60th Anniversary of the original television classic and we are ready to celebrate with all kinds of memorabilia from Rudolph and Friends. Rudolph has delighted multiple generations of children and you can find a wide range of Americans today who still love this charming character and the TV special which played on CBS every year. Many of us made it a family event and still do.

The TV special was based on the 1949 Johnny Marks song "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" which was itself based on the poem of the same name written in 1939 by Marks's brother-in-law, Robert L. May. Since 1972, the special has aired on CBS.
